Below you will see a set of 22 pictures numbered from 1 to 22. Your task will be to look at the individual pictures and then evaluate and describe your personal impressions. By impressions we mean both positive and negative emotional and cognitive reactions that can occur when exposed to certain stimuli.
For example, when looking at a certain image, one may experience: joy, infatuation, emotion, feelings of love or anger, fear, distaste, sadness or disgust. You may also have all kinds of thoughts or associations with situations that have already happened in your life or that you know from films or stories.
Use the following scale to indicate the strength of the impression made on you by a particular illustration:
1 star - means that the image has created a very strong negative impression. It triggered unpleasant emotions, negative thoughts or memories.
2 stars - means that the image evoked a strong negative impression. It triggered unpleasant emotions, negative thoughts or memories, but there were also isolated emotions or positive thoughts.
3 stars - means that the image did not make a special impression, it is rather indifferent. One does not experience specific emotions or thoughts and associations when coming into contact with it.
4 stars - means that the picture made a strong positive impression. It evoked a lot of pleasant emotions, positive thoughts and associations, although individual negative feelings are also noticeable.
5 stars - means that the image evoked a very strong positive impression. It triggered only pleasant emotions, positive thoughts and associations.
