The Personality Compass Inventory ( GiftsCompass ™ (GCI ™)) is easy to complete and consists of three simple steps.
1. Review pleasant life experiences.2. Describe your 3 most important experiences.3. Answer questions about these and other experiences.
Take the time to remember some of the most enjoyable experiences in life. When looking for the most enjoyable experiences, you can draw on any moment in your life - no matter how long ago - and from any activity. Look back and recall pleasant experiences when you felt very knowledgeable and at ease. They do not have to be "peak experiences" - extraordinary ones that are rare or beyond your control. Instead, they can be part of everyday life - work, leisure, hobbies or special projects, life with friends or family, school, etc.
It would be best if you were as specific as possible, remembering specific events or activities, not general types of activities.Take the time to sit down, close your eyes, and ask yourself: "What were the times in my life when I felt competent and at ease?" Keep pen and paper nearby to take short notes; let your mind wander and remember.
Please answer the questions by which you agree with the following on a scale of 1 to 5 where: 1 - means not absolutely; 2 - probably not; 3 - on average; 4 - somewhat yes; 5 - definitely yes.
